vball and bonfire 10/15

the day after

Thank you everyone who showed up. A special thanks to Lynn for the marshmallows, chocolate, and graham crackers. Also a special thanks to Pam and Swain for showing early and helping me set up the vball court.

We played even later than planned because we could. We had plenty  food and drinks. We had enough wood for a huge bonfire and still lend fuel to at least four different bonfires. We had music and good company. I hope everyone had fun because I certainly did. It was very nice to see people I have not really seen in a while.

For those of you who did not show up.... maybe next time!

day of update
Mood:  a-ok

Got the basics. a net, lines, vball, sand and some friends to share the fun. One more to join the fun: Frank! Welcome aboard.

Looks like I might not get there until after 11 or 12. FYI. If you are going to the bonfire please remember to bring a skewer to roast your marshmallows or other stuff. Thanks Lynn for volunteering to bring the marshmallows!

Welcome
Mood:  party time!
Topic: Sunday game

Please post here if you are going to show up. Even if you do not want to play, stop by and say hello. I plan on bringing a cooler full of drinks (gatorade or equivalent), munchies for the day.

Vball at 2:30 p.m. at the latest. You can play earlier if enough people are interested. I plan on being at Corona in the morning to save a firepit and get a good volleyball spot. Look for me on the right side near the bonfires!

Bonfire at roughly 5:30 p.m. - ?  Marshmallows, chocolate, graham crackers and plenty of bonfire wood!
